Historic Saint Louis presents Painting a Summertime Past

June 15, 2019, Saturday 10 a.m. - 4 p.m.

All gardening is landscape painting. Alexander Pope

From deep in the earth to high in the tree canopy, enjoy summer fun at Historic Sappington House!

Our formal flower and herbal gardens will be featured as well as tours of our historic home built in 1808 during Thomas Jefferson's presidency. Refreshments will be served. Entrance fees - adults, $5; children under 12, $1.

The lovely green grounds are awaiting families picnicking, maybe after Biking through History on Grant's Trail, 10 a.m.

This will be the closing day of the final student archaeological dig, so see the discovered artifacts.

Also safely climb to the heights in the park's trees with Vertical Voyages, $20 per person, climbing reservations required for 11 a.m. or 1 p.m. sessions.
