Take a stroll back in time while visiting five distinctive antebellum homes on Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 28 and 29. The tour opens at 11 a.m. on Saturday and Sunday. Homes close at 5 p.m.
Admission price of $25 either day, per person.
Also included with your main ticket purchase is free entry to Lexington's three historic museums: Lexington Historical Museum, The Anderson House Museum and the Wentworth Military Academy Museum.
This year's tour boasts an exclusive add on package to experience beautiful Linwood Lawn. This antebellum mansion (built in 1859) was believed to be the largest and most palatial home west of St. Louis. Enjoy a fancy brunch before the main tour begins. Cost per person for the add on is $40 and includes tax, gratuity, and round trip trolley ride from The LEX to Linwood Lawn. This add on tour begins at 9 a.m. on both days. Available only to the first 30 people who register for either day with the purchase of their main tour ticket.
