Missouri Patriot Day is a two-day event to commemorate the 20th anniversary of the September 11, 2001 attacks. Events will begin at 7 pm on Friday evening with an opening ceremony followed by a reading of the names of those who lost their lives on 9/11. The reading will occur on the South Lawn of the Missouri State Capitol.

The parade will include bands, first responders, and military units. During the parade, the Missouri Division of Fire Safety will conduct its 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb inside the Capitol.
