The Midwest Fiber Festival celebrates the education and creation using various materials for knitting, crochet, weaving, felting, quilting, sewing and other fiber arts. This festival is open to the public and free of charge. It is a weekend of classes, workshops, demonstrations from fiber artisans and instructors for all ages. Registration for classes is recommended. There are demonstrations happening throughout the weekend as well as vendors selling materials and artwork throughout the weekend.
The festival is at St. Louis Community College -Meramec Campus, 11333 Big Bend Road, Kirkwood, MO 63122. Classes run Friday, April 28, 10 a.m.-5 p.m.; Saturday, April 29, 9 a.m.-4 p.m. and Sunday, April 30, 10 a.m.-3 p.m. The Vendor Marketplace and Demonstrations will take place on Saturday, April 29, 9 a.m.-5 p.m. and Sunday, April 30, 11 a.m.-4 p.m.
