The park is home to a variety of species ranging from flying squirrels to bobcats. When hiking, camping or just spending time in nature, it is common to find mammal tracks, scat, hair/fur, and other signs of mammal habitation. Come inside Missouri's American Indian Cultural Center, where park staff will be giving a program to help visitors learn to identify the different types of mammals within this park and in other parks around Missouri.

This event is free and open to the public.
