Living History Saturday

See Photo Location

On April 9, Battle of Pilot Knob State Historic Site will host its first Living History Saturday of the 2022 season. Staff members will be in their period dress and offering special tours of the battlefield and the fort. A demonstration of basic daily military life will be provided, and visitors will get to sample a common soldier’s meal.

The historic site will host a Living History Saturday each month until September. Each event will cover a different topic related to the Civil War and the battle.

Visitors who attend all six of the events through the summer will be placed in a drawing for a VIP pass to the 2024 reenactment.

For more information, call the museum at 573-546-3454 and speak to Brick or Bryan.
