Every August, Missouri’s largest free fair (free parking and admission) takes over the historic Lamar Downtown Square. We are celebrating its 81st year. There’s a week long of fair activities, including a midway carnival, vendors of all kinds, queen contest, community and civic group booths featuring your favorite carnival foods, youth livestock show, art show, blue ribbon contests, car, truck, motorcycle and antique tractor shows, parades, concerts, and family fun for all ages!

Fair activities kick off with the PBR 8-second chute out at the Stompin’ Grounds on Saturday Aug. 16 and 17, and closes with one huge night of country music on Aug. 24, featuring CLAY WALKER and X-Factor winner, TATE STEVENS, at the Wyatt Earp Park on the Northeast corner of the Lamar Downtown Square.
