The International Country Gospel Music Association (I.C.G.M.A.) is celebrating its 69th annual 3-day music event where dozens of artists and musicians gather to perform for appreciative audiences. The music is Country Gospel (Christian Country), Bluegrass Gospel and Southern Gospel. Artists come from nearly every state, as well as several foreign countries.

The talent lineup is a dream for fans of the genre. Headliners include internationally known artists like Chris Golden; Barbara Fairchild and Roy Morris; The Waymasters; Jonathan Bond; and Mary Fay Jackson. Other favorites include Victoria Steelman, Bill Baker, Melissa Evans, Heather Van Deren, Delnora Acuff, Chuck Hancock and many more!

The I.C.G.M.A. is the oldest Christian Music organization in America. It began in Texas, where it was first organized by Dr. Lindsey Thompson and Billy Holcomb. In its colorful history, the annual music event has been held in Dallas, Oklahoma City and the Nashville area. But for the past 16 years, it has been hosted in West Plains, the hometown of Country Music stars Porter Wagoner and Jan Howard.

Scheduling includes daily showcases, 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with a lunch break at noon. Evening concerts begin at 6 p.m. Best of all, it’s free and open to all to attend!
