First Day Hike – Missouri Mines State Historic Site

See Photo Location

Join Missouri Mines State Historic Site staff as we start off the new year with a First Day Hike on the historic site’s interpretive trail. This easy 2-mile hike will include interpretation of old mining structures and equipment and of area development over time.

The interpretive trail features a mix of surfaces, including gravel and pavement. Portions of the trail have steep slopes. Participants are encouraged to bring water and snacks. Meet at the gatehouse.

This event is free and open to all ages. Pets are welcome but must be kept on a leash.

For more information or to check the status of the hike, call St. Joe State Park at 573-431-1069.

Registration for this event is required, and a signup link will be available here: https://icampmo1.usedirect.com/MSPWeb/Activities/Search.aspx
