The Chamber of Commerce annual Festival of Lights returns on Friday, December 6.
Creatively designed and beautifully lit, holiday floats will travel through the downtown. Prizes are awarded and we urge you to get your float built and registered for a chance at 1st, 2nd and 3rd place cash prizes.
Again, this year, the Lexington Community Fair Board will feature a snow ball drop at 6:15 p.m. and candy cane races and a fruitcake toss after the parade on the city lot at 12th and Main.
Mr. and Mrs. Santa Claus will be located on the front terrace in front of the Chamber office at 1016 Main. Come visit Santa starting at 5:30 p.m. Santa will take a short break at 6:45 p.m. to ride in the parade but will return after the parade. The lighting of the Community Christmas tree will be at 6:45 p.m. This Christmas tree will shine bright throughout the Christmas season.
Shop and eat at participating downtown businesses. It's the perfect time to explore all the things Lexington has to offer.
We hope to see you for this Lexington tradition!
