'Fall Rocks' Program at Missouri Mines State Historic Site

Bring the family to Missouri Mines State Historic Site for an autumn evening of fun and education. This free event will feature 10 or 12 educational activity and game stations set up within the three exhibit galleries of the Powerhouse Museum. All activities will be related to geology, mineral resources, mining and personal recreational safety, and are designed to appeal to elementary-aged children. Doe Run staff and volunteers will run the activity stations; state park interpretive staff will be available to answer questions about mining and minerals in the Old Lead Belt.

Refreshments will be served.
