On Aug. 12 from 7:30 p.m.-9 p.m., Prairie State Park will offer an evening stroll. Enjoy the sights, touch, smells and sounds as we stroll the prairie taking in the evening as the flora and fauna prepare for the upcoming darkness. Some will be going to rest after a day of surviving, while others will be just beginning their “day,” hoping to survive another night.
After the stroll, feel free to linger and watch the Perseids meteor shower.
