Children's Day and Sheep Shearing
May
02

The annual Children's Day and shearing of Missouri Town 1855's resident flock of sheep is back! At this popular annual event, you will see all steps of wool production including shearing, washing, carding, dyeing, spinning and weaving. Kids will enjoy diving into a pie eating contest, exploring the gorgeous site, interacting with livestock, and playing a variety of games their ancestors would have played in the mid-1800s.
