Four live bands, Callaway Bluegrass, Wildwood Boys, Lori King and Junction 63, and The Bluegrass Blondies. This is a fundraiser for the Fulton State Hospital Foundation.
The Foundation, a not for profit organization, raises funds, through donations from individuals and businesses through the Bluegrass and Barbecue event, then uses those funds to provide trainings and seminars for staff, clients and the community, to provide improvements in client living quarters as well as to provide gas cards for clients’ families who could not otherwise afford to visit the client.
Fundraising goes on all year as people learn about the good work of The Foundation. The people who give have a real heart for people living with mental illness and their families and are interested in helping.
