Battle of Athens Re-enactment at Battle of Athens State Historic Site

Come to the historic site for a re-enactment of the August 5, 1861, Battle of Athens Civil War battle. Re-enactors will also perform drills and have medical and civilian scenarios. Other activities will include living history and demonstrations by sutlers, artisans, period craftsmen and musicians. Food, crafts and memorabilia will be available for sale.

Please bring a lawn chair or blanket as seating is limited. We welcome all to join us for this fun family event! The Battleof Athens Civil War Re-enactment is free and open to the public.
