Basic Outdoor Hazard and Safety Awareness Program at Bennett Spring State Park
Learn more about the outdoor hazards a person can encounter when exploring the great outdoors through a display at the nature center from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Knowing more about basic outdoor safety and awareness will assist in making outdoor activities more enjoyable. A presentation on Basic Outdoor Hazards and Safety will take place from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. Learn more about enjoying the great outdoors with bats, poison ivy, snakes, stinging insects, ticks and chiggers, spiders and wildlife. The presentation is being presented by the Springfield Missouri Master Naturalist and Junior Leaders.
