Past Event

Architects of Peace is a three-part speaker series held in the spring of 2023. A collaboration between America’s National Churchill Museum and the Westminster College Center for Faith and Service, the series is also part of Wren 300, a global exploration of the British architect Sir Christopher Wren on the 300th anniversary of his death.

Today, the Church of St. Mary the Virgin, Aldermanbury stands as a temple of a peace and a testament to the Sinews of Peace speech delivered by Sir Winston Churchill at Westminster College in 1946. By honoring multiple perspectives on peace under one roof, this speaker series pays homage to Wren’s creative brilliance and invites others to consider ways to contribute to peace in their communities and around the world.
