Did you ever wonder what life was like for the pioneers who settled the Missouri Ozarks? Using Lennis Broadfoot’s book, Pioneers of the Ozarks, the Twin Pines staff and volunteers bring to life characters from its pages.
Learn about the strange customs of living that have now vanished, and see a bit of a life that was vastly different from anything known today. These portraits illustrate a variety of activities from the late 1800s, such as soap making, hunting, quilting, rug making, spinning and more.
