Located in a police/fire station dating to 1908, the museum features exhibits on steamboats, mules, the Missouri State flag, fire and police memorabilia, and much more. There is a replica of a steamboat pilot house.

Open Thursday, Friday, and Saturday afternoons from mid-March through mid-December. Admission rates are $3 for adults and $2 for children.

Curiosity Shop features books by local authors, gently used items, and items made in Missouri. Special events include programs on Native American culture, book signings, special tours, lectures, and tag sales.
