The site offers basic and electric campsites; water is available in the campground through October. Showers are available at the site's picnic shelter, approximately one mile from the campground. Enjoy picnicking, hiking, fishing, boating and history tours.
At this site, Union troops defeated the pro-south Missouri State Guard in 1861.
The park is open April-Oct., sunrise-10 p.m.; Nov.-March, sunrise-sunset. Campsites available first come, first served April through November.
