The Albrecht-Kemper Museum of Art houses one of the finest collections of American Art in the Midwest. The collection is housed in the original William Albrecht home, which underwent a major expansion in 1991. The historic home is the perfect backdrop for works by artists such as Mary Cassatt, Rembrandt Peale, Edward Hopper and Wayne Theibaud. The AKMA Cafe serves lunch on Wednesdays and Thursdays.
The museum’s gift shop offers a selection of keepsakes and children's items.
Admission: $5; age 65+, $2; younger than 18 & students, $1. Group rates offered. Closed holidays.
