The Cotton Ramble Bike Ride begins and ends at the Sikeston Depot Museum in downtown Sikeston. Riders travel along shaded, tree-lined streets with majestic homes constructed in the early 1900s. This event is not a race. It is designed to allow riders to choose their routes based upon their own level of training.
Choose from 15-, 26-, 65- and 100-mile rides. The longer routes leave town, traveling along fields of cotton, soybeans and corn. The 26-, 65- and 100-mile routes include a free tour of a working cotton gin. All routes are well marked and include rest stops with refreshments and toilet facilities.
While downtown, enjoy the Downtown Cotton Harvest Festival in Legion Square (adjacent to the Depot). You're invited to enjoy downtown's galleries, antique and collectible stores, and boutique shopping.
Early registration closes September 30. Riders can pick up registration packets the evening prior to the event or on event day at the Depot Museum.
