The oldest model railroad club in the St. Louis area invites everyone to their open house, inside a circa 1910 railroad depot. This model railroad club was formed in 1938; it has been in the same building ever since.
Watch them operate their O-scale trains, traveling on their large, scenic layout and tour the facilities.
The club’s railway depicts a short-line railroad that actually existed in 1882, called the Springfield and Southern Railway Company – the S & O.

Forget your troubles, come on Get Happy, as sister duo Swing St. Louis pays tribute to Hollywood's beloved silver screen star, Judy Garland, who is known for her unforgettable performance of Meet Me in St. Louis. Beautifully costumed and choreographed, the show features Garland's most requested songs: “Somewhere Over the Rainbow,” “I Love a Piano”, and “The Trolley Song.”
The Miller Sisters grace the stage performing their signature tight harmonies, impersonations and tap dancing. Emily and Lacy Miller, have toured their nostalgic shows near and far, including appearances in Orlando, Branson, Fort Knox and more and are thrilled to commemorate their hometown as it celebrates its 250th birthday!

The Living Well Village houses leadership camps, with health and wellness programs designed for individuals, families and organizations. The facility can be rented for family or group events/outings. Operated by The Living Well Foundation, a not-for-profit organization.

Site excavations have established that Paleo-Indians hunted the American mastodon here during the ice age. The site is the home of the Kimmswick Bone Bed, one of the most famous and extensive Pleistocene ice age deposits of fossils, including a number of bones of giant mastodons.
The museum displays artifacts, fossils and a replica of a mastodon skeleton, and outlines the story of the Clovis culture, which existed in the area between 10,000 and 14,000 years ago.
Open for day use, the site offers picnicking and hiking.
Museum admission: $4, ages 6-12 $2.50, younger than 6, free. Grounds are free.
