Cole Camp is a historic city with a rich German heritage. Its downtown, dating from the late 1800s, is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. It includes houses built during the Civil War period. One of the first Civil War battles in Missouri was fought just outside of the city. Cole Camp is known as the place where the prairies and the Ozarks meet. The chamber hosts a variety of events throughout the year. The city has several antique and gift shops, restaurants and a winery that is open seasonally.

This 55,600-plus acre lake offers 958 miles of coast line and has created a diverse wildlife area rich in the history of Osage Indians, explorers, fur trappers, traders and settlers. Harry S Truman State Park, located on the peninsula that juts into the lake, opened in 1983.
Clear waters, dramatic bluffs and vibrant summer and fall colors make Harry S Truman State Park an ideal place to vacation. The park offers a marina, ample fishing and boating opportunities and water that are ideal for every kind of swimmer. Hiking trails, picnic areas and campsites that dot the park's open oak woodlands, natural grasslands and lakeside areas let visitors enjoy the abundance of wildlife and recreation opportunities at this park.
Truman Lake is a great location for fishing, even in the winter, as power from Truman Dam helps heat the water. Truman Lake is nationally known for its excellent crappie and bass fishing. The reservoir is fed by four rivers and several small streams, creating a broad diversity for fishing.
More than 8,800 acres of timber were left standing in the lake to improve aquatic habitat. The lake often hosts major fishing tournaments.
Hickory Hollow offers a lodge and 16 cabins: one-, two- and three-bedroom units. In addition, we have 86 full-hookup RV sites with 30/50-amp electric.
We have a pool, fish-cleaning station and a pavilion. Located on 40 acres of hardwoods and cedars.

Lake Hills Motel, located in Warsaw, is within 10 minutes of Truman Lake, Osage River, and Truman Dam. It is a fantastic fishing area. Lake Hills Motel offers a swimming pool, king-size beds, satellite TV, flat screen TVs, air-conditioning and free ice.
Lakeview RV Park opened in 2000. The park ovelooks the Osage arm of Truman Lake. It offers complete facilities for a vacation spot, or guests may come spend the year. There are more than 200 sites, some with a spectacular view of Truman Lake. Many sites have shade and a large patio. Lakeview RV Park offers convenient access to boat ramps, swimming beaches, golf courses, shopping, medical facilities, restaurants and night life.
One cabin, 50 full hook-up RV sites, 12 with just electric/water. All sites are well shaded.
Activities include: fishing, an in-ground pool, volleyball, horseshoes, basketball, bike riding and a playground. We have a shower house, restrooms, laundry facilities, boat dock, launch ramp and boat storage.
Located seven and one-half miles east of Warsaw on Route MM, mile-marker 83 on the main channel of Lake of the Ozarks.
The hatchery building houses a 2,000 square-foot visitor center. The center includes a 12,700 gallon aquarium. A variety of exhibits focusing on fishing and aquatic themes include an over-sized native Missouri mussel model, a model of hatchery water flow, computer games, fishing line knot- tying and many other demonstrations and displays. Remember to visit our Gift Shop. We also sell Missouri hunting and fishing permits.
Fishing for youth 15 years of age and younger is allowed in a pond on site during Visitor Center hours. Tackle and bait are available at the Visitors Center. There is no charge for fishing or the use of the equipment or bait.
Opened in 2006, and features large, clean rooms. Standard rooms and suite rooms that have microwaves and mini refrigerator, as well as jetted bath tubs, are available. We also have loft rooms that will sleep eight, with a king bed downstairs and two queen beds upstairs. Large indoor pool and spa. Excellent breakfast that has biscuits and gravy, eggs, sausage links, waffles that you make yourself, fresh fruit, cereals, doughnuts, danish, juices, coffee and cappuccino. We have another location in Clinton.
