This museum tells the history of St. Joseph. Steamboat captains, overland freighters, Pony Express riders, fur traders, gold miners and Jesse James all conducted business here. Jesse James was killed in this house on April 3, 1882, by fellow gang member, Bob Ford. The home includes artifacts from Jesse's life and death, as well as items from the 1995 exhumation of Jesse James.
