Augusta was the first federally designated viticulture area in the United States. The area around Augusta, including the villages of Defiance, Dutzow and Marthasville, encompasses several bed and breakfast inns, boutique shops, a microbrewery and excellent wineries where guests can savor award winning Missouri wines while enjoying a picnic lunch, live music and great views.
We produce small batch, hand-crafted wines. Cheeses, sausages and picnic supplies are available. You are welcome to bring your own picnic baskets. Tours offered.

The Daniel Boone Home and Boonesfield Village features the home of the legendary hero, Daniel Boone. The four-story Georgian style mansion looks down to the Boonefield Village, which is comprised of more than a dozen 19th century buildings.

Founded in 1859, Mount Pleasant Winery is within the Augusta Appellation, the first federally designated viticulture district in the United States.
The tasting room offers samples and sales. A 45-minute, guided tour is available Saturdays and Sundays, noon and 1 p.m., April thru October. Private tours are available year-round, by appointment.

Our charming 1860s farmhouse is located right in the middle of Missouri Wine Country. We are in the hillside farming community of Concord Hill, population 40, just 1.3 miles from the Katy Trail and about 3 miles west of Marthasville.
The inn has been completely updated with modern heating, cooling and plumbing and has three large guestrooms, each with private bath, plus a loft that can sleep up to six.
We serve a full hot breakfast we call "George's Big Country Breakfast" and can accommodate any special diets; just let us know in advance. Delicious dinners are available with prior arrangement.
