Caplinger Mills River Front Resort is nestled on the banks of the Sac River at the Historic Caplinger Mills Bridge and is a quiet place to get away from it all. Sitting on a little more than 15 acres, our resort is bordered by the Sac River and a classic Ozark creek, both of which are perfect for those who like to rock hunt, fish, swim, canoe or just poke around in the woods.
We offer accomodations ranging from rustic tent camping to full amenity lodging. Our Historic Mill House and cabins are situated along the peaceful Sac River. Our serene location welcomes guests to relax and enjoy the river breezes.
This area offers some of the most beautiful scenery in the Ozarks, and is quite a history lesson: The Mill was built in 1842 by John Caplinger. It was burned down several times, twice during the Civil War by Shelby's Raiders. The remaining Mill Ruins, as well as the Dam and Bridge are listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The Bridge has been restored with decking and acts as a center of activity for the local fishing community.
Fifteen cabins in the woods, half a mile from the lake. Cabins include: full kitchen; knotty pine walls; vaulted ceilings; washer and dryer; air conditioning; front and back porch.
Cabins sleep eight, so they are good for families and groups. Our Lodge includes: a bar; plasma TVs; free Wi-Fi; hot tub; putting green; dry sauna; and an exercise room. Enjoy the lake view from the 200-square-foot covered deck, equipped with picnic tables and chairs.

Home games are played at Hammons Field. Individual game tickets can be purchased by calling 417-863-2143, at the ticket office at Hammons Field, and online by visiting our website. Ticket prices range from $6 to $24, depending on seat location. Season tickets and group tickets are available.
When the Cardinals play on Saturdays and Sundays, the ticket office opens at 10 a.m. On game days, the ticket office remains open through game time.
The Hammons Field gates open one hour prior to game time.
Stockton Trails Initiative Coalition is a group of volunteers. Our mission: to coordinate development and maintenance of multi-use trails around the community of Stockton and Stockton Lake, in order to provide free healthy outdoor activity for all and to conserve the natural beauty of the land, water and vegetation.
There are more than 40 miles of trails for hiking, mountain biking, running, horseback riding and a kayak trail. You can find a map of trails and upcoming events on our website.

This 2,716-acre park, overlooking Stockton Lake, offers picnicking, a marina, a swimming beach and fishing. Stockton Lake is one of the top lakes in the nation for sailing.
