This museum preserves the history of St. Joseph from prehistoric times to today. The collection is most noted for its extensive American Indian artifacts.

Other exhibits include a Civil War medicine display, and the renowned Mett Shippee archaelogical collection.

Admission: $6; age 62+, $5; students, $4; age 6 and younger, and museum members, free.
