More than 2,000 exhibits honor those who served in all branches of the U.S. military. Sculptures, murals, historic artifacts, art and 1000s of memorabilia covering WWI, WWII, Korea, Vietnam, Desert Storm and other 20th Century conflicts. The walls of the museum are lined with more than 500,000 names of those killed in action. The museum hosts one of the the world's largest war memorial bronze sculptures: 50 life-size soldiers storming a beach; each statue modeled after an actual combat soldier from each of the 50 states.

The Toy and Miniature Museum is a 38 room house that boasts one of the largest collections of nostalgic toys, fine-scale miniatures, and marbles in the Midwest. Located on the University of Missouri-Kansas City campus. Visitors will be dazzled by the intricate craftsmanship showcased the collection of fine-scale miniatures. DinoSpace Adventure offers interactive science and natural history exhibits, featruing a unique museum experience with indoor and outdoor hands-on science activities; space exhibits; the Clifford Wilson Biblical Archaeology Collection; the Science Lab fossil room; and the Bone Room, which features a life-size cast of the head of Stan the T-Rex. Unusual exhibits about unusual people. The museum building itself is an optical illusion containing more than 400 fascinating and entertaining displays.

A two-building complex of Missouri-Kansas Border War and Civil War history. The Hornback House includes a circa 1908-1934 medical office. Gain a better understanding of the importance of this part of Missouri and Kansas before, during and after the Civil War. (The Old Jail is at 231 N. Main.)

More than 50 life-size dinosaurs are displayed, from the very smallest creature (a one-foot micro-raptor) to a towering 42-foot Tyrannosaurus rex. The models were created by paleo-artists who copied from actual dinosaur skeletons. There is a learning center with video, a fossil exhibit, birthday party area, and a gift shop.

Marvel Cave, a Registered Natural Landmark, opened for tours in 1894. The cave, which lies beneath Silver Dollar City theme park, was the first attraction to bring tourists to the Branson area. Fans of the famed comic strip "Beetle Bailey" should include this 2,212-acre Missouri Department of Conservation area on their travel schedule. This site was the location of Camp Crowder Army Base during World War II and it was this site that gave cartoonist Mort Walker the inspiration for "Camp Swampy," the mythical military base that figures prominently in the cartoon strip. This link to the comic strip is honored in the Crowder Area's "Mort Walker Trail," an 11-mile hiking/bicycling/horse trail. Hunting for all major game species is permitted in season. Primitive camping (no amenities provided) is permitted on the area, except for seasonal closures for some hunting activities (call 417-451-4158 for details). Dogs must be leashed or confined when not being used for training or hunting purposes. There are no fishable streams or ponds on the area. There is an unmanned shooting range and an archery range on the area.

This 840-acre area owned by the Missouri Department of Conservation is a mostly forested area that provides both hunting and nature-viewing opportunities. Hunting for all major game species is permitted in season. Trails over parts of the area provide hiking and nature photography opportunities. Horseback riding is permitted on designated trails and service roads. Primitive camping (no amenities provided) is allowed on the area. Bicycling is allowed on designated trails. Dogs must be leashed or confined when not used for hunting or training purposes. There is a 14-station walk-and-shoot archery range. There are no fishable streams or ponds on the area.

Located just south of Kirksville on the west side of Highway 63, the Northeast Regional Office offers those interested in fish, forest and wildlife the opportunity to learn more about our natural resources. Interactive exhibits, taxidermy mounts, a large freshwater aquarium and a trail await those interested in the outdoors. Those looking for information or publications on Missouri's outdoor resources will enjoy the free publication area as well as the small nature shop where books, cassette/CD's and DVD's are availble for shopppers. You can also purchase your Missouri Hunting and Fishing permits at the office.

Rudolph Bennitt Conservation Area contains 3,515 acres at the junction of Boone, Howard and Randolph counties. The gentle, rolling terrain is 75 percent forested. Fields of native warm-season grasses and row crops are scattered amonth the forest. The 48-acre lake has an ADA-accessible boat ramp, fishing dock and restroom. Hikers, bikers and equestrians should check out the 12.5 mile Moniteau Wilderness Trail. There are also 24 primitive campsites on the area.

Ozark Actors Theatre is a professional theatre. We have three actor's equity productions during our summer season, a Holiday Show in November, and several other events throughout the winter. Florissant Civic Center Theatre offers a wide variety of professionally staged productions including the St. Louis Family Theatre Series, Florissant Fine Arts Council events and concerts.

Featured in the 1992 Architectural Digest, the Andy Williams Moon River theatre is a no-smoking venue with stadium seating for 2,051. Photographs of Andy's legendary television shows are placed throughout the lobby. Personal collection of Japanese wedding kimonos hang at the back of the theatre. The theatre houses a gift shop. This comedy and musical extravaganza stars funny guys Applejack and Guppy McGee; country singer Todd Bradshaw; pianist extraordinaire Tracy Heaston, and a cast of singers and dancers all backed by the best of the best of Branson musicians. When the sun goes down, the fun is just beginning at the Ozark Mountain Jubilee. Featuring Branson favorites, the Max Bacon Family, this show celebrates country classics of yesteryear combined with today’s hot country hits. Presented at 7 p.m., Sundays only.

From the first downbeat, audiences fall in love with the power harmonies and dynamic performance of the quartet called New South. Mark, Scott, Jason and Trey sing today’s country hits as well as quartet classics from the Oak Ridge Boys to the Eagles. From country to gospel and 1950s to modern day, the Grand Jubilee explodes with musical fun to satisfy any age, and comedy is abundant. Branson’s reigning Comedian of the Year, Jamie Haage (as Jim Dandy) and Emcee Mike Patrick will keep you doubled over in laughter. Also, Grand Country favorite, the talented Jackie Brown, entertains fans with her dynamic performance and power vocals. The energetic Todd Bradshaw also joins this star-studded cast to sing his way into the hearts of audience members. The  talented musicians from the Grand Band are also showcased and given a chance to show their stuff. This production combines the entertainment sophistication Branson audiences have come to expect, along with “up-close-and-personal” performances of talented performers, to create an experience which will bring you back time and time again. The Hughes American Family Theatre (formerly the Roy Clark Celebrity Theatre) was built in 1985. It was the first real theatre built in Branson. Before its construction there were only two live music shows in Branson; one in a cave, the other in a barn. Today we host: The Hughes Brothers and The World's Largest Performing Family; Six, an Orchestra of Human Voices; and master guitarist Jim Greeninger. The theatre seats 1,200, including dinner theatre seating. The Celebrity Bistro, which features gourmet sandwiches and real fruit smoothies, is on-site.

The last original drive-in theater named after the Mother Road: Route 66. The screen is 96 feet wide and 44 feet tall, making it one of the largest remaining outdoor screens in America. Get your flicks on Route 66. Friday-Sunday.

The Muny in St. Louis, one of America’s oldest and largest outdoor musical theatres, offers seven professionally-mounted Broadway musicals each season. The Muny presents its shows in a breathtaking setting framed by the majestic oaks of Forest Park. There is seating for 11,000, including 1,500 free seats which are offered on a first-come-first-served basis nightly. The Muny has wheelchair seating and assistance. Monday evening performances are interpreted for the hearing impaired. Assisted listening devices are available nightly, free of charge. The Amazing Pets Show at Grand Country Music Hall features exciting acts and tricks from a troupe of skilled dogs and trained housecats. Ringleader Sean Paul and his trusty side kick and trained monkey, Frankie, have pulled together an amazing troupe of furry creatures who will win your hearts as they perform for your love and laughter. Many have been rescued from dog pounds and humane societies across the country. The Touhill showcases national, international and local talent in opera, dance, classical music, contemporary concerts, comedy, theater and jazz. The non-profit organization on the campus of the University of Missouri-St. Louis boasts the beautiful European-style opera house, Anheuser-Busch Performance Hall and the versatile black-box, E. Leach Theatre is located on the campus of the Missouri University of Science and Technology, in Castleman Hall. The theatre’s season runs from August to May. Since opening in 1991, Leach Theatre has provided world class theatre productions; hosting an average of 100 events per academic year.
