A professional naturalist will conduct a guided tour of native wildflowers and other flora and fauna surrounding Fort Osage National Historic Landmark and along the banks of the Missouri River. Learn what species have survived since being first identified during the Lewis and Clark Expedition and how invasive plants are threatening the local ecosystem. Hiking shoes, camera and binoculars are recommended.

Jonathan and Tessa Dowell will perform Celtic, Appalachian, Ozark, and modern blues music on the McSpadden custom maple Mountain Dulcimer. Jonathan and Tessa took first place in the Southern Regional Dulcimer Ensemble Championship in 2008 and 2009. Jonathan was first runner up at the National Mountain Dulcimer Championship, 2009. Presented at The Fair Grove Farmers Market.
