A 1,000-acre ranch, one mile from the Jacks Fork River and Alley Spring Mill; five miles from the Current River. We offer unique lodging adventures, including our tree retreat, sheepherder's wagon, log cabin and the old red barn, as well as modern ranch houses for groups. There is a museum of horse-drawn equipment and farm primitives; a three-acre lake; and two miles of running streams. All outside activities are free.
We have self-guided ranch tours; a small-animal area; walking trails; camping; labyrinth; and a four-level overlook deck. Our air-conditioned main hall is available for private events.
Mojeji Ranch, (pronounced mo-JAY-jee), is an educational family farm set on 296 acres on the Ozark Plateau near Mountain Grove. Owned and operated by two generations of the Schrock family, we raise pastured beef cattle, meat goats, hogs, broiler chickens and free-range laying hens. We avoid chemicals, antibiotics and growth hormones, and use high density holistic grazing practices.
Farm stays at Mojeji Ranch give your family a complete "from field to fork" local food experience: stay one to five nights in our guesthouse, join in preparing and eating boarding-house-style meals, and participate in farm activities (caring for animals, gathering eggs, working in the garden).
Also, take time to visit regional attractions, such as Baker Creek Heirloom Seed Company's Pioneer Village, the Laura Ingalls Wilder Home and Museum (where the Little House books were written), historic mills and natural springs, caverns, or enjoy a river float trip.
