Pulaski County is proud of our veterans. All have been donated by citizens, businesses, and organizations of Pulaski County and Fort Leonard Wood. Pulaski County was the first Purple Heart County in Missouri and has been joined by Purple Heart Cities; Crocker, Saint Robert and Waynesville and the Purple Heart Organization; Crocker DAV: all proud supporters of our great country's Purple Heart recipients.
This bridge was built in 1941 to bring building supplies to Fort Leonard Wood. Stop at the scenic overlook located along an original segment of Historic Route 66, just west of Devils Elbow.
