This is a fun Halloween float trip. Join Lay Z Day Canoes and Camping on the Big Piney River in St. Robert for a Haunted River Float. Floats depart every half-hour from Lay-Z-Day Canoe Outfitters.
Once you are in the raft there is no turning back from whatever may be lurking in the river. After the float, you walk through the haunted forest and hop a hay wagon for a ride back to the campground. At the campground, there is a nice warm bon fire.
Camping is available by reservation; a separate fee applies.

Trails West!® is an outdoor arts festival celebrating the unique cultural heritage of St. Joseph, Missouri. Now in its 22nd year, the festival features fine arts, fine craft and unique foods.
Trails West!® is the largest festival in northwest Missouri and draws audiences from over 100 miles including southeast Nebraska, northeast Kansas, southwest Missouri and Kansas City.
Last year the festival recorded over 30,000 visits over the three days. The event is held in Civic Center park next to City Hall.
The all day event provides a great way to experience Waldo, beginning with the kick-off ceremonies at 10am with the inauguration of the honorary Mayor of Waldo, followed by entertainment on the every hour, a tent full of area businesses and organizations, food vendors, and children activities galore.

The 1909 Railway Depot located in Bonne Terre is a bed & breakfast inn and a National Historic Site. The 1909 Depot has four guest rooms located on the second floor of restored historical site and three additional suites located in adjacent train cars. The first floor is a nostalgic English-style pub called the “Whistle Stop Saloon” and is open only for scheduled events. The 1909 Depot originally operated under the name of “Mississippi River and Bonne Terre Railway” and owned by the St. Joseph's Lead Company.
At the Depot, St. Joseph Lead arranged many traveling excursions for its employees, and at the height of operations, 12 trains a day arrived at the depot. The depot is a 2.5-story frame building on ashlars foundations, with a broad, hipped roof that was sheathed in gray slate. The 1909 Depot has the combined architectural styles of Queen Anne and late Stick resulting in a unique design and it reflects the late 19th century style of construction for small railroad stations throughout Missouri.
The depot was modeled after a fire destroyed the original 1898 depot. St. Joseph Lead Company employees constructed the Depot in 1909 and left to the elements in the late 1950s after the lead company moved their operations west. The nationally historic depot was saved from demolition when present owners, Doug and Catherine Goergens purchased and restored the depot in 1989. West End Diving now operates the 1909 Depot and the Bonne Terre Mines.

Adventures new Float Trip Office is located on Route 64, 14 miles west of Lebanon and 3.5 miles west of Bennett Spring State Park (15 miles east of Route 65 at Louisburg). This easy access is convenient to people for day trips, motorcyclist or spur-of-the-moment fun.
This is the last two-car ferry operating in Missouri. The ferry takes you across the Current River on Route K at Akers. The ferry is operated by Akers Ferry Canoe Rental. The fee is $4 per car or $5 for a vehicle and trailer.

Watch the sunset over the amazing main channel view from this renovated (April 2011) three-bedroom, 3.5 bathroom, two-level waterfront condo. The master suite on the lower level has a king bed, TV, private bathroom (shower/tub combo), walk-in closet, and a enclosed hot tub on the deck. The second bedroom on the main level has a queen bed, and semi-private bathroom. The third bedroom is on the lower level; it has a full bed and two twin bunk deds, ideal for giving the kids a little space. The third bath and a half are downstairs, too, so everyone can get ready before hitting the water.

The dining table seats six (extra chairs available) and bar seating brings four more people into the plan. The lower level also has a family room if you need to spread out. If you have a large family or golf group we have two units at Copper Ridge sleeping a total of 16 people with 13 beds. Copper Ridge is located on the (3-Mile-Marker) beautiful Horseshoe Bend in Lake Ozark with a pool that has a view of the lake. Located within 20 minutes of many area attractions, including the Bagnell Dam Strip and Osage Beach Premium Outlets, Season's Ridge Golf Course, and fine dining options, including the Blue Heron.
Renovated Spring 2011, this two-bedroom condo has a panoramic main channel view to match. Relax in the master suite, with brand new bedding for the king bed, and deck access. The adjoining master bath (shower/tub combo) has new lighting and hardware. The second bedroom has a queen bed and its own private deck. The second bathroom also has a shower/tub combo.

Includes a two-well dock, plus a large deck overlooking the water, perfect for relaxing and barbequing. The master bedroom opens onto the deck and is complete with a bath featuring a jetted tub, his and her sinks, separate shower and a large walk-in closet. Second master suite also has own bath and walk-in closet. Home also features high-speed Internet access. Four-night minimum during summer season.
