Featuring a variety of musical styles ranging from soulful rhythm and blues to convincing musical tributes to Johnny Cash and the Beatles, the series runs for 7 consecutive weekends in June and July.
Now in its sixth season, the Summer Music Series brings regional and national touring acts to perform on stage at the Orris, a former movie theater in the historic district of downtown Ste. Genevieve.

FROGZ! is an unforgettable experience for children and adults alike. The ingenious masks, mesmerizing movement, outlandish costumes, and original music score create a carnival of the absurd, presenting universal themes with a light touch, as animals take on human characteristics and inanimate objects like orbs and slinkys engage in silly humanistic movements.
FROGZ! is penguins playing musical chairs, a cat trapped in a giant paper bag, orbs running wild through the audience, and a madcap revue of illusion, comedy and fun that has inspired audiences worldwide, and it’s coming to Leach Theatre in Rolla.

Combining stunning acrobatics, striking visual effects, physical comedy and inventive choreography, Galumpha brings to life a world of imagination, beauty, muscle and merriment. The three performers create a sensory feast of images ranging from the ridiculous to the sublime, drawn together into a seamless whole, consistently bringing audiences to their feet.
Formed in 2002 by Andy Horowitz and Greg O'Brien, Galumpha delivers a fast-paced, athletic brand of movement, distinctive for its ingenuity. Highlights include "Velcro" and "Clackers.” Other pieces feature experiments in human architecture set to music by Rachmaninov, Mahler and the virtuoso Czech band Jablkon, making for an exceptionally entertaining program.

Founded in 1984 by the principal concertmaster and the string section leaders of the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra, the quartet appears regularly at the world`s most prestigious concert halls such as Carnegie and Wigmore, and has thrilled audiences throughout the world with their incredible artistry. The ensemble`s extensive discography includes recordings of the quartets of Beethoven, Mendelssohn, Mozart, Shostakovich and Reger.

Direct from Dakar, Senegal, the Senegal St. Joseph Gospel Choir interprets Gospel/Negro Spirituals, traditional African Songs, and the magnificent masses composed by founder Julien Jouga. Don’t miss their appearance at Leach Theatre in Rolla.
The voices, to which drums, guitar and kora are occasionally added, rise in a local polyphony invented by Mr. Jouga, testifying at the same time not only to his mastery of language, but to his profound knowledge of his country`s rhythms and music traditions. The Senegal St. Joseph Gospel Choir represents the humanity and the fraternity that exists within the Capital City, Dakar, and throughout the country of Senegal.

Forget your troubles, come on Get Happy, as sister duo Swing St. Louis pays tribute to Hollywood's beloved silver screen star, Judy Garland, who is known for her unforgettable performance of Meet Me in St. Louis. Beautifully costumed and choreographed, the show features Garland's most requested songs: “Somewhere Over the Rainbow,” “I Love a Piano”, and “The Trolley Song.”
The Miller Sisters grace the stage performing their signature tight harmonies, impersonations and tap dancing. Emily and Lacy Miller, have toured their nostalgic shows near and far, including appearances in Orlando, Branson, Fort Knox and more and are thrilled to commemorate their hometown as it celebrates its 250th birthday!
