Take the 45-minute drive from Springfield and experience the past with Laura Ingalls Wilder, as she reminisces about her childhood pioneer days, her incredible family and her beloved Almanzo.
Laura’s life unfolds through a live theater production that culminates on that momentous day in 1951, when Mansfield dedicated its library in her honor. Laura’s Memories captures her journeys through Iowa; Minnesota; the Dakota Territory; Kansas; and finally: Mansfield, Missouri, where Laura and Almanzo spent their remaining years.
The Ozark Mountain Players bring this story to life under the Ozark sky, in a comfortable amphitheater in Mansfield’s Recreational Park. Concessions are available.
Tickets are $10; ages 5-11, $5; younger than 5, free and are available one hour prior to curtain or by calling 417-924-3383. General admission only; no reserved seats.
