Oktoberfest is one of Jefferson City’s major festivals, bringing in participants and visitors from throughout Missouri. We celebrate our German heritage at several venues. Visit our website for details and schedules.
On Friday, a German meal is served; tickets sold at the door. On Ashley Street, you can listen to, and dance along with, the Loehnig Family German Band, while enjoying beverages from the Muenchberg Beer Garden.
Saturday, activities include performances on the main stage; bratwurst and hotdogs at the Beer/Wine Garden; Missouri’s largest dachshund costume contest & derby; a kids’ area, with games and activities; crafts and food vendors; baked goods; crafts demonstrations; and the Mid-Mo Old Car Club show.
