Take free, guided tours of the meat Snack-Stick facility at Western's Smokehouse, which originally began operations as a local retail store and butcher shop serving the Greentop area. Over the years, Sam Western began to create his own brand of smokehouse flavors for jerky, sausage, and barbeque sauces. In 1992, Sam's son, Kevin, joined the business and together they have continued to perfect the family recipes and smokehouse processes. In 2006, Western's launched a unique meat snack product that is distributed nationally today.
