This is the only American museum dedicated solely to preserving the objects, history and personal experiences of a war whose impact still echoes today: World War I. The museum is located beneath the iconic Liberty Memorial Tower.

Housing more than 55,000 objects, the museum uses interactive technology, along with its world-class collection, to tell the story of the war through the eyes of those who lived it.

Connect with soldiers through their personal items. The Museum collections and exhibitions tell more than an American story—they cover the entirety of WWI, from the first shots in 1914 to the last attempts at peace in 1919, including all of the belligerent nations involved, reflecting both the battlefield and the home front.

Please note: to reach the top of the Liberty Memorial Tower, visitors must ride an elevator and then climb 45 stairs.

Admission: $14; ages 65+ and students (age 18+) w/ID, $12; ages 6-17, $8. Wednesdays, all tickets are $7.
