The museum is filled with artifacts and memorabilia from airlines throughout the United States. Aircraft include the first Lockheed Constellation ever restored; a Martin 404; a DC-3; and a Lockheed L-1011 TriStar; and other unique items.
The National Airline History Museum commemorates America’s development of commercial aviation that inspired the nation. It is located in Hanger 9, at the Charles B. Wheeler Downtown airport.
Closed: January 1; July 4; Thanksgiving day; December 24 and 25.
Tickets: $8; ages 65+ and active military, $5; ages 12-18, $4; younger than 12, free.
