The permanent exhibits focus on American Indian cultures from throughout North America.

The Museum's archaeological collection, the largest holding of prehistoric Missouri artifacts in the world, includes millions of items dating from 9,000 B.C. to modern times. The Museum holds thousands of objects from many cultures around the world.

Rotating exhibits cover all fields of anthropology and archaeology. Located on the campus of the University of Missouri.

The Gift Shop has fair-trade items for sale from the U.S., Africa, China, South America and Poland.
