The 2008 race was a huge success. Planning has begun for the 3rd annual Tour of Missouri professional cycling event, slated for mid-September, 2009. Once again, cycling's best will be challenged by this elite, point-to-point stage race through Missouri's rugged terrain and historic locations.

Visitors play in the mazes, jump on the haystacks and steer wheelbarrows toward their favored pumpkins. Our old barn is full of natural fall decorations and crafting items. Numerous unusual pumpkins, squashes, gourds and 40 plus varieties of hardy mums are available. Admission is free; fee for pumpkins, flowers and other selections.

St. Louis
The Missouri Botanical Garden presents an outdoor exhibition of 39 whimsical, imaginative mosaic and painted sculptures by French-born artist Niki de Saint Phalle. Created from fiberglass, stones, glass, mirrors and semi-precious materials, the pieces include animals, mythical figures, musicians, athletes and jubilant, dancing women called Nanas. Visitors may touch many of the sculptures; some invite exploration from the inside out.

Kansas City
The Music Hall will be transformed into a winter wonderland as the Kansas City Ballet’s annual production of The Nutcracker casts its spell with visions of sugar plum fairies and toy soldiers. Clara and her magical adventure through the Kingdom of Sweets will capture the imagination of young and old. Featuring music by the Kansas City Symphony. Tickets go on sale October 20, 2008.
