A little retail therapy makes any girls’ weekend the perfect weekend. From our designer stores to our unique boutiques, the Show-Me State can show you the perfect fashion for any occasion. In Missouri, we make your therapy outing one you’ll want to schedule weekly.

Located 15 minutes west of downtown St. Louis, in Kirkwood, quaint buildings and easily walkable paths allow for a leisurely afternoon of food and boutiques. At Blush Boutique, find that one-of-a-kind outfit for a special night out. As you begin to tire out, treat yourself to a burger-in-a-basket and a sweet treat from the fountain at Fizzy’s Soda Fountain and Grill. Stop in at Great Harvest Bread Co. for coffee and an energy boost. Finish the evening at Billy G’s,  where you’ll find a twist on comfort food, or choose One 19 North for shareable tapas and live music.

Fifteen blocks of shopping is heaven for any girls’ weekend. In Kansas City, the Country Club Plaza caters to every shopping personality. More than 150 shops and dozens of restaurants occupy the storefronts in this Spanish-architecture inspired district. Pick up a new purse at The Coach Store or Kate Spade New York. Find a new treasure for your home at Restoration Hardware. Grab some Chicago Mix at Topsy’s Popcorn Shoppe. After all of that shopping, deluxe rooms and suites of the chic and modern Hotel Sorella will cater to your every whim.

Osage Beach is home to more than boating and Lake of the Ozark activities. Grab your purse and head to Osage Beach Premium Outlets for a day of shopping at more than 110 designer outlet stores. Pick up some yummy stuff at Harry & David.

To continue your quest for a good deal, head to Tanger Outlets–Branson, where you can save up to 70 percent. Make sure you stop by the mall’s guest services desk for a coupon book, good at many of the stores.

Not merely a college town known for SEC sports, Columbia’s downtown – The District – is 50-square-blocks of restaurants, boutiques and entertainment venues. For a little shoe shopping, American Shoe carries your favorite brands – Clarks, Børn and UGG are just a sample of the many brands offered. To find that special dress for dinner, Elly’s Couture carries the brands offered in metropolitan cities. Yelp.com reviewer C.M. says, “… this store brings in clothes from all over the country so I can still get unique outfits and accessories.”

While spending the weekend in Columbia, check the Farmers Market, where the smell of fresh produce and locally crafted foods lingers in the air. Pick up jams and jellies from Sullivan Farms to complement your brunch. Try the creamed honey from Walk About Acres and select from one of the many gluten-free pastries baked by Senza. Upward of 90 vendors offer their goods at the market, Saturdays, 8 a.m.-noon.
