in downtown Boonville. Just off the Katy Trail, this shop offers a wide variety
of artistic creations. Take home a piece of original art, such as a photograph,
a ceramic piece, jewelry and other treasures. For that hands-on experience, sign
up for one of Zuzak’s workshops and classes.
Set aside an afternoon to
explore the shops in Maplewood,
a hip area, 12 minutes from downtown St. Louis boasting a multi-block stretch
of one-of-a-kind spots. Pamper yourself with items from Maven, selling delicious-smelling
bath products, cosmetics and candles. Spoil yourself even further (you deserve
it!) with a beautiful box of salted-caramel truffles from Kakao, one of
the region’s most acclaimed chocolatiers. The pooch in your life will
appreciate a souvenir from Airdale Antics, offering high-quality treats and toys for your four-legged friends.
Take a much needed break at Schlafly Bottleworks,
a unique restaurant and microbrewery. Live music is often scheduled inside, and
in the large outdoor biergarten.
Any fashionista will love a
trip to Plaza Frontenac,
an upscale St. Louis shopping center with many of the nation’s top brands. Home to more
than 40 shops, including Missouri’s only Neiman Marcus, Plaza Frontenac offers
a luxurious shopping experience from the minute you step through the doors.
Whether you’re looking for that “It” bag at Louis Vuitton or upgrading your
yoga wardrobe at Lululemon, you’ll leave happy. Plaza Frontenac features an
art-house cinema and a variety of outstanding restaurants.
Treat your group to an
afternoon of beauty at The Avon Store in Springfield. No need to wait for a catalog or the iconic
ringing doorbell – you’ll find all of the products right there. Choose from a
