Feel like a local when you step into the friendly environs of Hammerjacks. This fun St. Joseph club welcomes new and familiar faces for an evening of laid-back, unforgettable good times. Every Friday night, a live rock & roll band brings revelers to the dance floor; on Thursdays and Saturdays, a DJ keeps the beats going. Need to rest your feet for a few minutes? Kick back and watch the big game on a 165-inch screen. On top of all that, they serve plenty of thirst-quenching specials.

In Columbia, the popular nightspot called Mojo's enjoys a well-deserved reputation for bringing in a continually changing line-up of some of the top acts in the nation. Stellar acoustics and a hip vibe make this an outstanding place to catch a show.  

In Branson, celebrate a true American icon at A Neil Diamond Tribute, presented at the Branson Star Theater. Performer Keith Allynn looks and sounds nearly identical to Mr. Diamond—in fact, he is referred to as “The Diamond Image.” Hear many of Diamond’s classics, sung just as he sang them.

Want to hear tomorrow's jazz stars and seasoned veterans? Travel to Kansas City, for a show in the renowned Blue Room, a lively part of the American Jazz Museum, located in the historic 18th and Vine Jazz District. Enjoy an evening of superb, live jazz; and be sure to take time to admire the Jazz Age artifacts throughout the club and the museum.

While in Kansas City, catch more great jazz at Jardine's Restaurant and Jazz Club, where you can hear the incomparable Ida McBeth, one of the nation's most acclaimed song stylists. Jardine’s offers live music nightly. They have a full bar, with a long wine list, martini and drink specialties, plus a full gourmet menu of fine foods—all in a festive intimate setting.

In Jefferson City, folks are “doin' time” at Prison Brews, the city’s popular, prison-themed brewpub. Talented acts take the stage every Friday and Saturday evening. The pub has a large outdoor patio, with two bocce courts. Tempting food, including wood-fired pizzas and locally made brats, plus their delicious house-made microbrews, make for an enjoyable visit.
