Our three guestrooms and the common areas are decorated with antiques, yet updated for comfort and relaxation. The circa 1870 home served as a boarding house in the early 1900s, for workers on the MKT railway. It is renovated to maintain its original charm. The walk-out balconies, screened porch, outdoor patio, water and flower gardens add to the ambiance.
Rooms are available on an individual basis. Also, the entire house may be reserved; a whole house discount is offered. The innkeepers reside next door.
Guests are provided an expanded continental breakfast. Also provided, if our guests would care to cook, are eggs and ham or sausage. The fully equipped kitchen is stocked with coffee, teas, hot chocolate, and bottled water. A snack tray of cheese, sausage, crackers and cookies is delivered in the afternoon.
The inn is one block from the Augusta Brewing Co.; two blocks from the Katy Trail; within 10 minutes wineries and shops.
Open April thru December.
