Historian and museum interpreter Henry Gensky will present the "Capitols of Missouri." The program will take visitors on a virtual journey through time and place to explore Missouri's current and previous capitol buildings.
The program continues the museum's ongoing series, "Museum After Hours," held the first Wednesday of each month. In addition to the program, the museum's galleries will be open until 9 p.m. The program will be held in the Missouri State Museum's History Hall, located in the east wing of the Missouri State Capitol.
Representatives from Missouri River Relief will discuss their grassroots efforts to connect people to the Missouri River through river clean-up, educational events and stewardship.
Come experience a night at the Missouri State Museum and enjoy a reflection of rural life in Missouri. Missouri Century Farms and historic barns will be discussed and celebrated. Missouri Barn Alliance and Rural Network president Bill Hart will give an update on current efforts and restoration needs in the state of Missouri.
