The museums focus on the history of Joplin, the heritage of southwest Missouri and the story of lead and zinc mining in the region. See Victorian rooms, textiles, minerals, models and other subjects.

Inside, don't miss special features, such as the National Historical Cookie Cutter Museum, which puts a spotlight on the history of cookie cutters.

Admission is $2 per adult and $5 per family. Admission is free on Tuesdays.
