On the annual Candlelight Tours, experience the magic of the beautifully decorated Governor's Mansion.
The tour features several decorated rooms of the historic brick building, which has been home of Missouri Governors since 1871.
Walk-in groups of less than 10 are always 030welcome. Reservations are required for groups of 10 or more.
The glow of candlelight fills the first legislative chambers as musicians perform traditional songs native to Missouri and the Midwest to get you in the holiday spirit.
Tickets: $10; sales begin Nov. 28.
You will be surprised and delighted as period-dressed interpreters lead you by candlelight through the fully restored capitol building. The ambiance of the warm crackling fire and glowing candles will get you in the holiday mood. Admission is $4.50 for adults and $3 for children. The Columbia Handbell Ensemble, headquartered in Columbis, Missouri, travels to hermann for this Christmas concert at St. George Church. The group performa on sets of five-octave handbells and chimes. Their aim is to promote the excellence of music through the media of handbells.

A Jefferson City tradition for almost 20 years, Living Windows takes place downtown, where storefronts and windows come alive with dancers, singers, religious and holiday themes.
Hayrides wind their way through the streets and Santa Claus greets kids at Hawthorn Bank. More than 50 groups participate, filling High Street with more than three blocks of entertainment.
Enjoy refreshments; listen to carolers; and watch performances sharing the holiday spirit.
Hear the traditional story of 'Twas the Night Before Christmas,' written in 1823, told by Mrs. Claus alongside a warm, glowing fire.
