After a winter of cold and snow what can be more fun than getting outdoors in the spring to enjoy the weather, get some exercise and help others all at the same time? It is how one should multi-task!
This event will be held at Twin Pines Conservation Education Center and is open to all ages; just bring a can of food to donate to the local food pantry.

A Glow in the Park race will be a social running event themed as the ultimate party run. Races will be between 2 to 3.1 miles in distance and held in Queeny Park.
There will be “obstacles" along the course for runners to conquer. The obstacles will include two foam pits, two glow-water sprays, and two glow-powder dustings. This is all in preparation for the dance party at the end of the race, at which finishers will celebrate to beats spun by a local deejay.
The races will take place just after dark for a unique experience with glow colors and lighting.

This race is held annually at Stockton State Park Marina (Stockton Lake). Proceeds help implement and maintain the trail system in the park, for nature education, family enjoyment, and exercise.

For the 5k, we offer prizes for the Overall M/F; Masters M/F; and top-three M/F in each age division. Also, we have drawings for prizes such as gift certificates to local businesses and Stockton State Park Marina. Sometimes we give away a little cash.

On your mark, get ready for fun and exercise on a pretty October morning by registering for O’Fallon’s Fall Fest 5K and 10k.
The 3.1 and 6.2-mile race, which has divisions for all ages and a costume contest for race participants, will begin outside O’Fallon’s Municipal Centre, 100 North Main Street. Runners can set their own pace as they follow a marked circuit through the neighborhood, returning to the start/finish line at City Hall.
The Fall Fest 5K and 10k offers 11 divisions and the Fall Costume Contest is open to all race participants at no extra charge. Awards will be presented to the top three male and female runners overall, the top three male/female runners in each division, and for 1st, 2rd and 3rd place for best fall costumes worn throughout the race by participants.
Complimentary snacks and beverages will be served after the race, with the awards ceremony beginning at approximately 8:30 a.m. The Annual Fall Festival will open nearby in Civic Park at 10 a.m.

Join this fast-paced competition that combines the old fashioned scavenger hunt with the new high tech scavenger hunt. Teams and/or individuals will be provided with a list of tasks, challenges and photo ops to complete. The individual and team with the top score will receive a prize and bragging rights.
Advance registration is available online; $10 for individuals and $20 for a team of up to five. Online registration closes on Thursday, March 27. Day-of registration is $15 for individuals and $25 for teams.
This is a great family, friend or team building event. Educational and historical sites will be included on the list.
