This six-course dinner is based on the book, Christmas with Dickens, by Cedric Dickens. It is an evening of bygone revelry centered on a period 1870s English Christmas dinner and readings from A Christmas Carol, by Charles Dickens.
Guests are encouraged to join in singing carols and playing games that are included in Dickens' writings. Guests who would like to don period attire for the evening are welcome to do so. $60/person Reservations necessary: 660-837-3200 or email@example.com.
Learn, hands-on, the German tradition of summer sausage making at Hermann Wurst Haus. Join two-time hall of famer, Wurstmeister Mike Sloan, for this VIP event that's informative and entertaining.
Mike shows you the ropes of summer sausage making and cover topics such as: cold smoked vs. hot smoked: natural fermentation vs. artificial fermentation: natural casings vs. collagen casings; and other subjecys.
Class is by reservation only; it lasts approximately 2-2.5 hours. Tickets are $49, including a beer and bratwurst tasting, two pounds of sausage that you make and a Wurst Haus goody bag. Participants receive 10% discount on in-store purchases that day.
